Lee and The Dave Barry Big Band performed at my wedding in May. I had seen the band before at a charity gig and was amazed by them. I am a big fan of swing and big band music and they do not disappoint!

It’s so exciting to see a band in these times that are staying true to the big band era, and they certainly do an amazing job.

Lee is an outstanding singer and really pulled the crowds in. He is a great performer with a wonderful voice, and also pleases the ladies!?  The female singer (don’t know her name) added a different shade to the performance, and they complimented each other really well. A professional performance, I felt lucky to have them!

The guests at the wedding all commented on the music and how it was the best band they had seen in a long time. Everyone was up dancing and having a ball! They really made the wedding special and left memories for years to come.

Lee sang with the Dave Barry Big Band at our wedding in 2014. We had been watching him with the band for a few years and felt that he and the band were a perfect fit for our wedding. As always his performance was flawless and a pleasure to listen to. Lee sings with so much energy in big numbers but with subtle and beautiful expression in the slower numbers – nowhere more so than when he sang The Way You Look Tonight as our first dance. It was beautiful and I am so grateful for him for singing it. Lee is quite simply a superb musician and a tremendous singer. Everyone at the wedding hasn’t stopped talking about how excellent his performance was. Great guy, great voice, great night!…highly recommended!

Lee Gilbert and the Dave Barry Big Band were booked to play for a wedding at which I was best man.  All I can say is that they were perfect for the occasion and brought a real touch of style.  They looked slick and sounded fantastic.  Lee was not only an excellent singer and front man, but a good MC too who effortlessly kept the dance floor full throughout the reception.  I really can’t imagine anyone doing a better job.”  Edit as you will.
